The church

Description

The church beautifully located on the hill, was erected in the years 1949–58 according to the design by Tadeusz Witkowski. It is a brick one-nave church with six niches made by 2.5-metre-tall walls supporting the semi-circular vaults. The interior is ornamented by unique mosaics. The chancel features a brick altar with the painting of Madonna and Child. In 2005 three massive rocks were placed in front of the church; one of them features a figure of Madonna.
