Using modern specialist knowledge and the latest scientific achievements, the Lublin Agricultural Advisory Centre in Końskowola cultivates and develops traditions commenced over 200 years ago by Princess Izabela Czartoryska. In 1804 she brought first gardeners from Italy to Końskowola and established gardens here. The Polytechnic and Agricultural-Forest Institute operated here since 1863, and was transformed into the Farming and Forestry Institute in 1869. This research-educational centre changed its name and structure a few more times in the course of time, until June of 1999, when several dispersed institutes were merged into the Voivodeship Agricultural Advisory Centre in Końskowola, and in 2004 it eventually received its current name.
