Opoka

Description

The fields of the village of Opoka feature a limestone mound-embankment, most likely a remnant of an early mediaeval Slavic settlement, and a cemetery of the Przeworsk culture. The Volunteer Fire Department Station is located in the village. Since 1980s a flourishing orchestra operates here under the auspices of the County Culture Centre in Końskowola.
