The establishment of the main Wąwolnica cemetery dates back to ca. 1750. The necropolis is worth visiting if only for its scenic location on the steep edge of the loess plateau. The tombstones located on the slope are also worth noting. Entries to several ravines are located within the cemetery area and in its nearest vicinity. The largest, Lipinki Ravine, several hundred metres long, faces directly the road from Wąwolnica. A signpost directs you to the ravine, through which you can ride up to the top of the cemetery, as a narrow-gauge railway line is located next to the necropolis.
