The larch manor in Ługów

Description

The larch manor in Ługów was built in the early 19th century, together with the manorial farm complex most likely by Józef Iżycki of the Bończa Coat of Arms. In the years 1911–23, the estate was leased by Władysław Zawadzki, who conducted an extensive renovation of the old wooden building (framework timbering), and added a brick one-storey wind on the west side. As of 1925 Zygmunt Łabędzki was the owner of the estate and was then succeeded by his son Stanisław. After the war, an elementary school was located here and the teachers resided in part of the building. After the liquidation of the school, the manor and the surrounding park with a total area of 4.56 ha were put up for sale by the county. In 1989 the complex was purchased by private owners.
