The Tęczyński Manor.

Description

The establishment of the manor dates back to the 16th century. It was founded by Andrzej Tęczyński, Kraków castellan and courtier of King Sigismund the Old. The manor was destroyed during the Swedish Invasion of 1655. It was soon rebuilt by the then owner of Końskowola – Łukasz Opaliński. The building lost its significance when the palace was built in the nearby Puławy. At the beginning of the 18th century, it was transferred to the local parish priest and since then it served as the Końskowolska presbytery. At present, it houses a restaurant.
