The interior of the church

Description

Electronic audio guides, available during the visit in the church, tell stories about the most interesting historical monuments featured in the church and its crypts.

Noteworthy inside the church is the Baroque high altar made of wood and featuring the paintings of the Heart of Jesus and Our Lady. The church boasts six side altars. Four of them represent the saints: Andrew, Valentine, Stanislaus the Bishop and Anthony (the latter was made by Wojciech Gerson in 1890). The right-hand side chapel features a wooden altar dating from 1914 with the paintings of Madonna of Częstochowa, and the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The left-hand side chapel boasts a brick altar stone, with an 18th-century painting representing Lamentation of Christ hanging above the altar. It is worth noting the baptismal font dating from the 18th century and the organ from the 1930s.
