Chapel

Description

Formerly, only a cross was placed on the graves of the fighters who perished in the Uprising of 1863. When the small chapel was erected on the hill, its slopes were completely bare, as there were no trees (as seen on the old postcards). The trees later covered the slopes but were cut down by the Russian soldiers after the Second World War. There is no trace left of their existence today.
